Reproduction Steps When in "Wardrobe Storage" the "All" tab allows you to put clothing down within the tab. When filtered by category (i.e. outfits, hats, shoes, etc.) this option doesn't exist. If you click to pick up clothing, and try to click within the wardrobe to put it back down, it doesn't let you. If you move it to your inventory and then move it back into the wardrobe, every box you clicked on will now contain that piece of clothing. Extra clothing items can be removed from the wardrobe and sold.
