Every time I try to get the last memory for the last giant, it always crashes around level 102-103. the screen goes completely black and i have to force end task to get out.

I just made it to somewhete around 148 on my Steam's most recent update version (1236) using a wired in controller on my laptop, and got the 'black death screen' as well after mining to find the hole and jump in. Music still plays, but also had to force quit the game since I couldn't even access my pocket to sesajen out. The same thing happened around the same floor the last time I tried the cave of memories as well.
I emailed support my zip file.
