all of a sudden I cant date anyone while being married?

I am married to Surya for almost a whole season and still started dating three other characters afterwards. But if I want to give the locket to someone now, it says that i am engaged and can not date anyone else. Does someone know why this is popping up now? I just married because i knew i can still see everyones heart events 😦
