I sometimes get down to the last rocks in the whole level before the stairway shows up. I am curious how it triggers, is it locked to a specific rock somewhere in the level, or an n'th rock mined and the chance begins increasing as you keep mining until it appears? I feel like i go through an entire energy bar on 1 level and i'm frustrated.

Early game specifically, have the ore for a copper pik just haven't yet, so i can imagine it gets easier as you go, but i'd still like to know if it's better to mine all the single hit rocks, or if it's pre-placed and you have to hit them all anyway or if you go for the 1 shot rocks first and after so many it appears?

@quasi tiger It's basically RNG, I found that early game in bronze mine - hole is in small rocks. Sometimes there is also a pattern you can notice, after you go through several floors. Like holes near the entrance, or near the ore nodes, sometimes mystery rocks also can hide holes.

and at higher mining level i can craft small bombs and my own stairs out of stone like stardew?

ok and last one, do some of the color of the rocks that are not ore, matter? like the darker grey ones have chance for coal, or are the colors just for flavor?

ooo i have a few more, but keeping to the theme of mining room, still the first entry, i notice things on the walls, like keyhole looking things, or small statuette things, all that are just flavor yea?

The main advise we always give to newbies is don't rush. And upgrade your tools. And there is no hole between levels 30 and 40, so when you go - stock up on food. Sugar is best for price - stamina. But across the island there are chests with candied tree seeds for free

i know i want to get to making bug recipe and keep stuff like flies and snails, cheap bugs make a pretty tasty snack. honestly some bugs are more nutrition than the equalivant resources to grow livestock in a much smaller space, i don't know why it's not a more practiced field. like a greenhouse next door to a restaraunt, locally sourcing crickets for the pasta 🤣 other than getting people to get over the ick factor. i saw a vid where there is a real restaraunt that serves insects and the host said if they weren't told what it was, they wouldn't of known otherwise...i don't know where it was off hand hah.

like the protein in a mealworm or w/e for the same size bite of meat it's tri-fold.

Bug jerky is a good source of stamina in game and in real life. And catching some bugs are quite easy

haha i didn't turn you off with the bug food talk. is this game support multi-player i haven't found that out yet oh and a layout planner, is there a fansite with a grid map that has the dimensions of the farm, per square and the dimensions of the placeables? or is there a website existing that allows you to input asset images and dims and you can play with practice designing the farm?

#

i'm pretty sure that's a thing or if it's not it needs to be.

#

kind of a 3d model play to design the space for whatever game you're playing...
