I adopted a pet but the event never started and I don't know how to fix it...

I adopted one of the foxes after putting a bed down, the day I was supposed to get them, I had three other events. 1st, greenhouse showed up, then Karen's phonecall about plan M. And unlocking the bamboo area behind the hot spring. When I left my house, the event for them bringing the pet over never started. Now, I'm stuck in Limbo, the fox I adopted is unselectable, and now I can't adopt anymore pets, but their portrait in family is just a question mark. I tried removing the bed, putting it back, exiting and coming back, going to the shelter, I 'm at a loss, and I can't recreate it because I don't know if it was the specific events or the number of events... 😦

Oh right, I apologize, sorry, first time I've been in a devs discord for bug reports:

Reproduction steps:

1. Winter day. Completed several bundles, including the last winter farm ones.
2. Went and bought Fox bed, went and placed, then came back, adopted fox and named Vivian.
3. Went gathering. Then came back and slept.
4. Next morning, in order. I got cutscene of Greenhouse. Cutscene of Bamboo sanctuary. Then cutscene of Karen's M plan phone call. Then, went outside the house expecting pet cutscene. Didn't start, thought maybe it was too many events, so kept on playing. Now well into Spring 2 with no pet and the previous pictures. I attempted to remove bed, get an outdoor pet house, store and replace the bed inside and no changes.

Repro rate: Haven't tested as that would require me fully restarting just to see about the pets as there is no way for me to reset the adoption.

Game Version: v1.1b-1235.
Input Mode: Steam by keyboard/mouse on windows 11 PC.
Save file attached.

Got it! One more thing ~ do you recall the in-game date when you adopted Inari, Saly? Also, the date when you get the multiple cutscenes? 😮

@silk roost I went back in and did some investigating, somewhere roughly around winter 15ish if I remember correctly. That's when I got my goat and my quail.

Title: Second pet not appearing
Steps: adopted second pet in winter, I am now in early spring year 2 pet is still not there. Says pet is part of the family but cannot be found when tabbed.
Repro rate: Pet has not been present since adopting it.
