#Crash when retuning to main menu after in the morning

After the game saved when ending the day I waited for the character to appear beside his bed. I then exited to the main menu while inside the house and just when the sprinklers were going off outside. This happened as I was logging out, so it could be that the sprinklers where being unloaded/despawned while the start-of-the-day-water-crops/seeding where being handled/run.

Hi @pulsar shale. Thanks for letting us know and sharing the crash report with us!

Could you also send us your save file so we can take a closer look?

To find it, please copy-paste this file path into your Windows Explorer: %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames and locate the DailySave.sav file. Feel free to share it with us when you can 😊

You're very welcome! I can't say I remember exactly what (save-)day this happened, but I am far beyond that day now. Wierd that I forgot the save file. I usually include it. Must have just forgotten :/

#

I'll however try to replicate it, since it's basically just having a lot of sprinklers on a huge area of your farmland, and try to exit to the main menu as the sprinklers are triggered at the start of the day.

The same thing happened again: I ended the day -> the game saved -> my character appeared by the side of his bed -> The game started stuttering a bit (as it does in the morning after playing for a few ingame days at 50% speed) as the sprinklers outside on the farm went off doing their thing. While they were doing that I hit Escape and clicked the "main menu"-button. As the game started unloading assets etc. the game crashed to the desktop and the same Unreal Crash Report appeared as lat time.

Included files:

  • CrashContext.zip -> CrashContext.runtime-xml
  • Screenshot
    *Current save (This is the day were my charater wakes up and I log out to the main menu when the sprinklers go off and the client crashes)
    *Zip-file containing the ingame days I have played this evening/today leading up to the current day where the game crashed on log-out)

What I did during the previous ingame days (playing at 50% speed):
Silver and Osmium underwater caves farming 200'ish fossils and 200'ish Chests, looking for the last 2 Artifacts and the last Fossil to complete the entire Museum.

Anything else you need lemmi know!
