Game keeps crashing in cave of memories after 30th floor. Playing on PC.

I had the same issue and crashed twice. Were you using explosives?

I had to pickaxe my way to floor 125 and that fixed the issue for me

Hi @austere kayak, are you playing on Steam? If so, did you receive a crash log after the crash happened and can you please share it with us?

You can access the crash log by copying and pasting this file path into your Windows Explorer: %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\Crashes. Filter the files by date to locate the most recent one and send the .xml file here 😊

Hi! Yes, I was playing on steam. I was setting off multiple bombs at a time and that might have done it

Yes I was dropping loads of bombs so I might have done it 😭

Were you using explosive I, II, or III at the time? And do you remember how many explosives did you set off? 😮

I've already reported mine yesterday and not using explosives seemed to work for me and finished the quest in the mine.

However, based on the crash log you shared, the error code is different from the one Nayonnaise reported. While both crashes occurred in the mines, it might be caused by something else 🙂

I was using explosive 2, I laid down maybe 6-8 bombs and then the crash happened when I jumped into the hole. But the bombs might still be setting off?

I also am randomly getting black screens when descending floors in Cave of Memories (was going from 130 to 131 this time) with no explosives used. Like game is trying to load next screen and can't and is perpetually frozen. No crash report, can still hear game music but next floor just never loads. So it's probably a cave issue.

Same crash just happened to me - screen went totally black when I descended from floor....I think 128 to 129? No way for me to go back and check now. Music still playing but screen black and no way for game to progress. Pretty annoying to lose that whole day's progress :c

Ah, if your screen goes black in Savannah, our team is already on it! Really sorry about this—we know how frustrating it must be. Hopefully, we can get it fixed soon so you won’t have to worry about losing progress again!
