name change is not sticking. see below

I go to the Town Hall and change my name. I then look in the menu at my characters profile page. same old name.

I go back to my house and sleep.
then check, same old name.

I go back to the Town Hall. My old name pops up. I change it again. menu says the same old name.

I go to bed again.
check the profile page again.
same old name.

rinse repeat.

I've done this a few in game days in a row now

Have you tried reloading your save file to see if your character's name changes? Or is it still staying the same? 😮

I have not tried exiting the game. one second and I'll try it now
