Game Crashes when accessing Mermaid kingdom

Reproduction Steps:

1. Fast travel to dive location
2. Go diving
3. Complete puzzle to open merfolk kingdom gate
4. Crash occurs when loading cutscene
   Repro Rate: 100% (Of the 5 times tried, occurred Every time)
   Game Platform: Steam
   Game Version: 1.1b-1233
   Input Mode: Keyboard and Mouse
   PC and GPU specs details:
   OS: Win 11 Pro, 23H2 (Build: 22631.4751)
   Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-14700K
   Memory: 64 GB
   SSD: Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 2 TB (869 GB Free)
   GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (12 GB)

Hello @spark hull Thank you for the report. Have you tried to verify the integrity of game files to see if the issue would resolved? You can do that by right-clicking the game on Steam Library > Properties > Installed Files > Verify Integrity of Game Files

Hi @rancid garden, Yes, I have verified the integrity of the game files multiple times, as well as doing a full re-install of the game. Both to no avail.

Another point of interest, my wife and I have the exact same computer builds, the only difference is the OS (she runs Windows 10) and has not crashed at all at any point.

i JUST got past the cut scenes, I had to do another fresh install, and verify the game files and it finally let me past it. However this is not the first time I have had to do this exact thing while playing, and it is getting rather tiresome and takes away from the fun of the game.
