#bugs

Heyas! Unfortunately because your using mods the devs can not help you in any way as the game does not support mods. Once mods have touched the game (even if you turn the off or delete them) your save file has already been compromised.
then do i have to restart completely to see the dialogue bugs fixed? ;;
You can check to see if others have had the same issues in #1222876094190059542 or #1105385747290280036
Just know that you will not be able to submit any reports yourself due to the mods
i already submitted a report ;; others have been having the same issue, i didnt know the game didnt support mods
Please make sure to update any reports you've sent in to have a note that you are using mods.
well u did it for me ;;
@real slate rule of thumb is to never assume that a game supports mods sadly
there was nothing on the nexus mod pages so i had no idea
Modders will mod wether the devs approve or not.
is there no option but to start a new save to try and receive less bugs?
Unfortunately once a file has been touched by mods that file has been altered and compromised. You can try starting another save or hold out hope that it may start working right
so does this mean that the mods caused the bugs or is there no way to know?
that was the main question i was asking ;;
There is no way to know and no one will be able to know unfortunately
i'm not sure what to do with my current save then
U can try to start a new game and see if it does it or not but just to be clear even mod launchers can affect the games u play as they auto identify what games you have
mod launchers?
And by doing so they touch and alter files by doing that
Yes mod launchers. Something say like curse forge or anything like that. Some nexus mods have launchers you have to download
i dont think i downloaded any mod launchers
Another one is WeMod
yeah i never had wemod installed
i only got individual mods in one folder
i only had the zoom mod and a hair mod
the zoom mod made my game glitch after a day or so, so i stopped using it and it doesnt lag as much now and the hair mod did nothing to my game
Just remember that modders do not care wether a game company or devs approve of mods or not. And so even the smallest mod's code can break a game. Mods are a "use at your own risk"
does my past usage of mods, invalidate my bug reports?
It invalidates the report for the save that the mods were on. If you create a new save and do not use mods then that can have reports
so if the bug i reported has happened to other people and gets fixed does that mean mine arent able to be fixed?
if its because of the past mods?
Again once mods have been used they alter files wether you delete the mods or turn them off. If the bug was not cause by the mod and gets fixed it could fix it in your modded save OR the fix could break even more things as the game will be updated for the fix but the mod may not be
what will the fix break? the save?
Possibly yes
😭 oh my gosh im cooked then im not restarting the game
Unless the game has mod support the devs DO NOT take into account mods and therefore do not care about working around them. The modder can update the mod BUT it is still not supported and therefore may still not work quite right
wait so the modder still matters when the mod isnt installed?
Always assume the games u want to mod are not supported until u either ask the community or the devs

Again... Once a mod has touch a save it has been altered. Think of it like being contaminated. You can delete the mods all you want but the code has been altered.
yes i understand that but you mentioned that the modder can update the mod i had before
All you can do is hope that whatever fix for the other people having the dialogue bug fixes on your modded save as well
Mods have to be updated when a game gets updated. If not more things can break
if the mod gets updated, does that affect my save?
i didnt think it would apply if i dont reinstall the mod
oh wait sorry i worded the first question wrong
i'm sorry im just worried of losing my progress 😓
So modders have to update the mods they make or it causes more issues. If the mod get update and you don't have mod installed the updated mod will not affect your save. But the fix the devs make may also not help your issue as if the mod was the cause then it won't fix it
