#NPCs don’t acknowledge Cherry Blossom Festival

Hi! I just started playing the steam version. I’m on day 10 and everyone keeps saying that the cherry blossom festival is tomorrow, but the town is decorated and everything else indicates that the festival is today. So the festival is day 10, but none of the NPCs talk like it is, they talk about it being day 11. I’m not sure if this is a year 1 issue only since I just started playing.
