not 100% sure if its a bug or just me not understanding how it works, but somehow the auto chests won't work? it works sometimes when i remove and put the trash but it stops at morning and at night

Hi @upper vigil , could you tell us which platform are you playing from (Steam PC/Deck, Xbox PC/S/X, PlayStation 5) and your current game version?

Along with that, does it only happen to auto chests that are connected to recycling machine? Or did you notice it happening to any other machine? Thank you!

im playing on steam pc and its the most current version.

i got this from the town rank upgrade so im not really sure about other auto chests

also added info i saw earlier. it does work when i take out the scrap but it eventually stops, is that how it works? it was like 7pm and it won't work even if i take out the already processed scrap, and as i said it doesn't automatically start the process in the morning

I have the same problem!
Thought I was just not using it right! Happens with not only the recycling machine. Seen it with the replicator/klin/mayo/loom/cheese press.

Adding to this post - I placed auto chests down after placing my kegs&barrels (the kegs and barrels were already processing items). It collected the goods and then it just disappeared. Both wine & juice disappeared. Some barrels I noticed have more than 3 items processing in one barrel.

Hi, haven't tried with aging barrels + auto chest outside of the cellar. However, currently my auto chest + replicator is producing/holding more than 10....

Not sure which save files so I just sent the whole folder... hope thats ok

Hi, thank you for sharing your finding! Could you confirm if you were able to take all 14 items or was it just a visual issue?

I'm unsure atm, as that shows how many is being processed in the replicator. I'll have to wait and remember not to remove the items from the chest to see if its a visual or number, when its finished processing.
