When trying to cast with the OFR, it seems the bobber at the start of the cast spawns too low, in the ground, meaning it fails to cast a lot of the time
Reproduction Steps: Go somewhere, try casting at different angles and ranges, watch it fail sometimes
Repro Rate: Mostly every time on flat terrain
Game Platform: Steam

From the videos you've sent us, setting the range too low will cause it to fall on the fence or stone instead of the water. You'll need to set the right range to be able to reach water in these areas!
Rest assured, you won't encounter the same issue if there was no obstacle (like fence or stone) near the edge 😉

So, just to clarify: if it decides the bobber at that range would land on terrain, it just doesn't show the bobber moving at all?
Maybe some kind of feedback that the range is the issue would be handy, because as in the clips, it does just look like the bobber bugged out and is stuck in the ground. Some message or even a little ❌ popup above your character would be much appreciated!

Yes, as of now the bobber won't move unless it hits water!
