"Waiting for other player" even though I play alone

**Reproduction Steps: **I just play the game normally and then it just happen. The screen came up right after I get the Deep Forest unlocking cut scene. I have never install the beta multiplayer version if that helps.
Repro Rate: this is the first time it happen to me
