I was in the mines when I wanted to use the rope and I pressed spacebar wanting to dash but it took me to the split item screen, I took 1 but I couldn't put it back and pressed the esc button and was unable to get back in until I reset from the title screen. Tried repeating it and when I split an item again and tried putting it back in the inventory, the screen is empty.

Repro Rate: unsure, it seemed to happen a bit more often when a room finishes loading. i also noticed sometimes the inventory sometimes does appear and you can place the item in another item slot.

pausing with the esc key doesn't work when that happens. i had to tab out to return to title.
