#Cooking Crash (PS5)

I've been asked to post a report, so doing so! My ability to provide more information might be pretty limited due to being on PS5. My game crashes every few days, and this report will be regarding my last crash, though I suspect they all have the same cause.

-Reproduction Steps: This last crash happened at the end of my day when I went to my kitchen to manually cook. I can open the menu, but when I selected the frying pan, I got the crash error.

  • Repro Rate: often enough that I try not to cook at all, but not often enough that it happens every time. Maybe 50% of the time.

  • Game Platform: PS5

  • Game Version: v1.1b-1232

  • Input Mode: controller

  • Crash log: not something I can get on console afaik

  • Attachment: also not something I can get, the crash report for PS5 is just a grey screen with a submit or not button.

I'm only submitting this because I was asked to; I understand this is less than helpful as a report, but I'm happy to submit another when this happens again with whatever y'all need that I can get.

You mentioned it occurred at the end of the day—do you recall what activities you were engaged in before attempting to cook? Any details would be super helpful for our investigation! 🙂

I do! I have primarily been seeking out heart events. I did Simon's where he gets Lily to fix the Library computer, Suki's where she hugs Antonio on the dock and he gives her the jackfruit pie, and the one with the little boy playing cops and robbers with Sunny. I also collected bugs from my traps and did some fishing outside the mine.

Hi ibwas also told to report mine was also on ps5 I was trying to make grilled fish and I forget the other item. It was one of the altar items. But it was also around end of day I was trying to cook multiple items and it would only let me make 1 item. Ever since then I've been afraid to make anymore and just sticked to making one item a day. Also to note I wasn't following a recipie that I've learned. I just picked a stencil and random ingredients
