Reproduction Steps: It started with the v1.1b-1233 update, after the update I lost count of how many times the game crashed. It started when going down the floors of the Savannah Mine and soon after it started crashing at the Winter Festival (Minigame Trivia Category) or any loading screen, the game becomes simply unplayable and I can't finish a single day. After many attempts I managed to change the year to spring (Year 4), but unfortunately the problem continues to stop playing because it is tiring to do the same day 3 to 5 times.

Always the same error from Unreal Engine 4 Crash Reporter (always sending the report as requested on the error screen itself)

Season: Any season
Time: Any time
Game platform: Steam PC
Game version: v1.1b-1233
Input mode: Keyboard + Mouse
PC and GPU details: Intel i7 3.50GHz / 16gb ram / RTX 3070
Operating system: Windows 10 64-bit / 22H2
No Mods used.

I'm reporting again because I'm seeing several players reporting the same issue, but I don't see any Hotfix or update to resolve the issue.

Hello @desert shard . I'm sorry that you experienced this crash, and thank you for letting us know.
If you happen to replicate the same steps, did the issue persist?

How to find your save file?

  • PC:
Copy and paste this into your Windows Explorer: %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames. Attach the DailySave_[number].sav file to your report.

  • Steam Deck:
Your save file is stored in the 'compatdata' directory. The filepath is: /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata.
From there, you will see many folders with random numbers. The Coral Island folder should have the code number '1158160'.
Enter that folder, then navigate to the pfx folder, then drive_c folder. Follow this path: Users<username>\AppData\Local\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames to find your save file.

How to find crash log?
You can find the crash log following this path in your Windows Explorer: C:\Users\ <username>\AppData\ Local\ProjectCoral\Saved\Crashes (the .xml file)
