Hi all, I recently purchased this game on PS5 and no trophies are working. They are tracking in game.

Really hope the trophies are unlocked without the need of starting a new game. In the latest version deployed we've been having issues with trophies, achievements and letters not being unlocked/registered properly. They need to fix it instead of making us start a new save. I've played more than 100h already and will be very upset

I have 20 trophies and 24 achievements. The 20 trophies I have are from my first playthrough back on November/2023 though. I've played the game when it has been released, however we had a lot of bugs making impossible to do some stuff so I've stopped. I started a new save after 1.1b-1232 build release and the new achievements have not triggered any trophies

All of my playthrough has been done in v1.1b-1232 version of the game, and on Playstation 5 Pro

It seems no one has been able to unlock even this easy trophy since December 12th

It's highly unlikely that no one new played it since that time

This indicates that most, if not all, trophies might be currently broken on PS5

Hello 🙂 I am brand new here. I just got Coral Island & I absolutely love it! I have noticed a similar problem with the trophies on Playstation. I'm about 60 hours in & I know I have met the criteria for at least 18 of the trophies but they haven't popped. I've played the game in two different periods. When it has been released on PS5 and after v1.1b-1232. The achievements unlocked on November/2023, I've got the trophies as expected. The achievements unlocked after v1.1b-1232 I haven't got the trophies.

I wouldn't like to tell you this, but, whenever we have an issue on PS5 and Xbox it takes very long to get deployed. For Steam platform they deploy in a matter of days. For consoles it takes weeks or months though. It's frustrating. I'm playing right now and I know that all the bugs I'm facing will be fixed when I'm no longer playing the game

That's why I played on November/2023 and only got back now, one year later. When the game was released it was impossible to do some stuff as it was literally not working. After one year of the game release, we're still having the same scenario but with less critical bugs

For example, auto chest is not working, achievements are not working, trophies are not working, lumina wand is downgrading, you cannot redesign your barn or you'll lose your machines inside, and so many others

I've faced all of them already

I've raised at least 3 times since November 2023 that the background song for farm is not playing the whole day. It only plays when it wants to and we spend almost the rest of the day in silence. They haven't fixed so far

Even though they're priorizing this, it won't get released in a matter of days. You can expect at least some weeks

Like, we have some frustrated players awaiting for the auto chest fix, it's been like months since it's not working fine, even for Steam. In the latest update they have told us it has been fixed, but it's not

That's what I'm doing. There are some achievements that are not unlocking as well. So if you notice that, search for a bug report and you'll probably find it

1. not everyone cares for trophy so lets prioritize it less
2. its a game breaking experience for completionists, lets push it next deployment/build

It's not a game breaking experience yet lol. Wait until you try to get the "legendary farmer" achievement and spend 30+ hours gathering everything in the game to sell and the achievements/trophy doesn't unlock and then you'll need to come here in the discord to prove to the support team that you've sold every item as expected.

Then you'll need to do everything again if you haven't saved a backup item to prove to them you've sold everything

As we're playing on PS5 we can't just simply share our save files so they can check it.

There's no way to track it in the game as well, you'll need to have a spreadsheet or something

I can tell you this is a game breaking experience. I haven't kept a backup item because I trusted the game would be working and I'm still deciding if I'll go thought all of it again or quit

If you all look into #📋coral-changelist channel you'll see we had a release for PS5 on Dec/12th and the previous one was Aug/30th. The difference is 3 months and half. This is a game breaking experience.

I'm sorry, but we need to stop saying "this is fine, the game is amazing". Yes, it is amazing. But it is so broken as well. We've paid for this. Could you imagine if other companies and games start doing the same? This is not ok

Look into the latest releases for PS5, you all will see how many "fixed" we have. We're not the final players, we're testers. Maybe in 2026 or 2027 the final players will be able to play it smoothly. Or not. They're working on multiplayer even not having the single player working 100%.

i agree. coral island is amazing , but the trophies not working are a big red flag. and since seeing the amount of other issues i will put the game down again. there is no lack of backlog and plenty of other games of the farming sim type. for now i advise friends to try something else when they ask me about this one.

Exactly. I've been playing farming games for 20 years. I've played almost all of them. Coral Island is the best game I've ever played in this category. It's amazing. I love it. However, whenever someone asks me about it, I say to not buy or not play yet as it has so many bugs. I've spent one year not playing it, hoping it will be in a better shape but got frustrated. We had amazing stuff released, but still we have so many bugs and crashes.

Have you all wondered why Coral Island is not a famous game? That's the reason

I've completed all museum collections except for the artifacts and have the hats/outfits rewards, but the badges and trophies are showing incomplete. I'm not gonna risk doing anything else just in case it resets my progress.

Please, when are we having all of the bugs addressed? When are we having them deployed? Not only taking about this one, but all of them. Playstation had time window of 3 months and half between the versions and the game is still bugged. So broken. I'm very frustrated. We have bugs from April 2024 that have not been fixed yet. I've raised bugs since the game was released in November 2023 and it's still not fixed. You all are selling a broken game. It's been one year in production and the game is still not working as intended. This is NOT beta or early access, we're actually buying the game to become testers. The game is not even being properly tested by your teams, because it's not possible that some issues have been tested. Just by opening the game we see them happening. You all are taking our money and developing the multi-player mode without having the single player mode working. Do you really think that having bugs raised for 9 months or 1 year still not fixed is fine? It's not hard to prove what I'm saying. Just looking into the discord, x or reddit is possible to see what I'm talking about. Your responses here will be used for escalation. I'll be escalating this to Steam, XBOX and PS store. I'm going to ask to review this scenario. It's a beta game being sold as a full game and we're not having a proper support as we're not getting answers and waiting a long time to have things fixed. Next step will be ask them to shut the game down until you all fix the game because you're fooling the players. I think if more people start doing it, then things will get better

We have so many bugs. Bugs with textures, bug traps disappearing, saplings disappearing, missing machines if redesign the barn, background songs not playing, bugged animation when fishing, bugged animation when getting on/off a horse, auto chest not working, losing enchantments in the tools when upgrading them, downgrading tools when claiming them from bed, achievements not working, trophies not working, and so many other I could spend the day describing

How can you all tell us that all of this has been tested?

We've been having issues with auto chest that team has claimed that has been fixed and that's not true. We're still having it.

Do you guys really think that working on multi-player to promote your game will be a better option instead of having the single player working?

So still no resolving the trophies issues on Playstation 5 ? My friend as now more than 80 hours in the game and cannot get a single trophy. She's quite deceived since she does all the platine of all the games she plays. At this point she's thinking about asking for a refund. I never had any problem with my game on Steam and supported in early access and bought all the bundle for charities and stuff. I would hate to see this game loose players over achievements not working. I can tell that the PlayStation version is not a priority, but its been months at this point so at least an ETA and confirmation that the trophies will pop once it is fixed would be appreciated. I've owned the game on steam since early access and repurchased it on ps5 specifically for the trophies, so I (and I'm sure many others) would consider this a game breaking bug

So I saw the recent PS5 update and came back to it having seen the steam patch notes that they'd fixed 'legendary farmer'. I have chests full of every single item ready to go. Thankfully I hadn't done anything with these yet as whilst playing I finally got married and an NPC to 10 hearts and no trophies popped at all.

I honestly want to love this game so much as I've dropped 160 hours into it. I'm a cosey game platinum trophy hunter and I was happy to just sit and wait on this one but knowing the trophies are all now completely bugged has really shot the winds out of my sails once again

From myself and the rest of the community here, please can the developers make this a huge priority to fix (photos attached for bug proof)

Interestingly enough to whenever I load a save my entire in-game journal sets all my current achievements to have unlocked that very day

Hi, PC player here, but someone who has been playing the game for several years and has some idea on how things work around here. So long explanation here.
I understand that you're upset that there is no update and want to get trophies triggered. But here is the reality - no console (including PS5) patch immediately or for a few weeks doesn't mean that team doesn't care or that it's not priority, or that they're forgot about it and other things.
Patching consoles was always harder than Steam, since Sony/Microsoft has internal QA processes that take up additional time. And since last year patching consoles for Stairway became even harder due to publisher issues, since publisher controls console access.
But Stairway found a solution where they patch Steam, fix main game breaking bugs and crashes along with quick fixes, and then consolidate several steam patches into one big one to all consoles. That way they already know mostly how the game will behave. Achievements were fixed on steam in the beginning of February, next fix will come to other platforms. All there is to do but wait.

TLDR: Consoles patches are hard and time consuming to push, so usually several steam hotfixes come to consoles in one big patch. Achievements were fixed on steam on 05.02.2025 (february), so please wait until release to consoles.

It's not that the developers are uncaring, but their priorities seem misplaced. Most, if not all, of the trophies were functioning correctly before patch 1.1. That patch introduced a game-breaking bug that has persisted for over two months without a fix.

Game-breaking bugs introduced by a patch should be fixed quickly to minimize disruption to players.

Hey, I’ve been stuck on the last trophy “Fashion Guru” since around September last year. I remember there was some issue where the achievement didn’t trigger properly on PS5, so I decided to wait for a fix.

At some point when I checked back (not sure exactly when), all the in-game achievements showed as completed automatically — but the PS5 trophy still didn’t pop. So I kept waiting again.

Just came back to try again, rebought every clothing item, but still nothing happened.

Really hoping to get the Platinum for this game, so any help would be appreciated!

None of the PS5 trophies are currently unlocking. Need to wait for the next patch. I've been stuck with only Fashion Guru missing for the Platinum for the last 4 months now. Oh, and the devs just went on a holiday break until the middle of April so don't expect a patch anytime soon. It's better to just focus on other games now, this will probably get fixed at some point in the future, but no one knows when.

It's not still broken, I popped 34 trophies at once this morning with no update. PSN profiles only shows those who sign up and link their accounts.

No signup or account linking required, it shows the trophies of all people whose PSN name was checked at least once via the search window available for everyone - but that's beside the point. Did you unlock "fashion guru"?

This is false, the website does not track all psn users. A quick google search states this, and if you go to the website it only tracks 6/100+ mil psn users.
Anyway, that's my next trophy to unlock and I just have a few more pieces to buy once I have the money. If it pops I'll let you know

Had the same issue. Normally using standby, I yesterday tried turning the PS5 off and on again, no success.
Today I went to my gf and took the PS5 with me. While starting the game, I unlocked the first 9 trophies.
Afterwards I got 5 more while playing, so it seems it works now like it should

I also noticed that even after selling an item, a question mark still appears, which means the game no longer saves the prices of sold items-or maybe it doesn’t register sold items at all anymore.

Heyyy! Couple of things on PS5! Currently playing on coop and I had two kids and the trophy popped. My coop partner has now also had two kids but the game I believe is seeing this as the 4th kid and therefore not giving her the trophy. Will this be patched pleaseeeee! We are so close to the platinum! But we also have the issue with slaying all monsters and neither of us obtained the trophy 🥺
