Brisingida starfish missing capture marker circle

Reproduction Steps: Go diving and try to capture a Brisingida starfish. This critter has no circle beneath it for you to target with your net like every other catchable creature. It is only this creature I have noticed this happening for.
Repro Rate: Every time catching a Brisingida starfish, I have caught 5+ with no circle ever showing.
Game Platform: Steam, desktop PC running Windows 11
Game Version: v1.1b-1233
Input Mode: Keyboard and mouse
