Hey y'all, I wanted to try the Multiplayer Beta, but also continue with my reagular game. So I tried the Beta and then, in Steam, switched to the normal Game again. But it doesn't seem to work. Although I deactivated the Beta in the Steam settings, I can still see MP-Options when opening the game. As well as there are two savegames for my regular game now and the game gave me a message saying that the progess will be deleted after the Beta ends. I'm confused, since this happened after I deactivated the Beta. Is my progress lost? What can I do to play the "normal" game?

I switched back via the game options in my steam games library. Steam says I'm playing the non beta game. But once I open the game, I still have the MP options.

Beta saves doesn't carry forward to the main branch, even after the Beta is done. They already warn about it before

Can you screenshot the message? Tbh, I never tried the Beta, it's a turn off when they said the save can't be carry forward.
Oh, I read back above. Try verify integrity of your files first
Takes a bit of time depending how fast your drive is, Steam will automatically check/replace correct game files to main branch (or Beta if you active the Beta).

I'm going to bed, so I'm gonna add this just a note so you don't have to wait for my respond:-
If the main branch still looks like the beta, backup/copy your save file to somewhere safe; %LOCALAPPDATA%\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames
Then uninstall the game, reinstall it back. If your cloudsave is enable, steam will automatically add you savefile back after reinstall the game. If your save is missing, just place your backup save.
And if, the multiplayer thing still exist. Then it's something you should report to the devs because either the game or the save file is mix up. Also, steam cloud save keeps many older data, thats a different story but hopefully we can try getting back the save without losing much progress.
Try verify integrity first, then the uninstall method, don't forget to backup your saves.

The message is just a warning after switching from beta to live version that while your beta save is saved, your progress however will not be transferred between beta and non beta.
And you should see just ordinary game menu without additional MP options.

Apparently my whole progress is gone. I neither have a MP option rn nor my "new" savegame. Although I have played while the Beta wasn't active, it appears steam somehow must have thought it is. I lost a week ingame now 😦

So, looks normal. I don't see any indication of the MP features present in beta. So on that front, you're good. You're loaded the main game
Then, all the progress you have made in beta will not transfer to main game. As was stated in the message while opening the game.
