So here's my thought on a gameplay mode. If you don't want to play a romantic storyline, you could have an option to have your best friend (just one) move in with you when your house is large enough?
Or if they are ace in the "my character wouldn't woohoo" kind of way, you could have an option to turn off that scene and perhaps the Goddess gifts you an adopted child later on in the story?
Not exactly a pressing game play need, but I think for inclusivity and quality of life, it could be good to have other options.
