#Fishing tension line rises without me clicking

Hi, sometimes when I fish, the tension line keeps filling up, even when I am not clicking anything. It happened the first time at lake temple, Spring year one, rainy weather, when I was fishing for gator gar. For some reason, when a certain type of fish was on the line, this bug occured. Now it is happening again at river forest, Spring year one sunny weather. I attached a video, first I did try to normally reel it in, then I stopped clicking and it just filled by itself

Reproduction Steps: It seems to happen for some fish, but I don't know which one(s). First I thought legendary fish, but successfully fished yellow moray eel.
Repro Rate: Happens at random. In between I did start the game again, but it still happens
Game Platform: Steam
Game Version: v1.1b-1233
Input Mode: Keyboard and mouse
Save file: attached
Attachment: Video

Hi @cinder umbra , we're sorry that you're experiencing this issue! To confirm, does it mean that it has now happened twice in lake temple and river forest? Does it happen every time you go fishing?

Thank you 😄

Hi, no worries 🙂 it has now also happened at river farm.... it doesn't happen each time I fish, I did notice it happens when I specifically fish for legendary fish and then have especially hard ones on the line.... but I also did successfully fish yellow moray eel, so I don't know if it only affects specific legendary fish?

So. How fishing works is, when you want to catch a fish you need to click on the screen to relieve tension, otherwise line will break. If you don't press anything, or press too long line will also break due to tension. Or if the fish is really hard to catch and your rod is not upgraded enough, line will also break.
It happens more with harder to catch fish and also depends on fishing rod update.
So if you want to catch some legendaries, some are possible only with osmium rod.
Example: Giant stingray, Giant sea bass @cinder umbra
