Game freezing when cooking anything

Whenever I use recipes or any sort of cooking apparatus the games freezes and takes time to load back to normal. This issue occurs every single time. I am playing on a PlayStation 5 and using controller. My game version is v1.1b-1232.

I have a similar issue, the game just freezes when I open the cook book and it takes about 30-45 seconds for the freeze to stop and me getting into the cook book. Then I can scroll through the recipes without a problem, but when I change the list from all to a specific utensil it takes super long to load again.

Could you tell us what platform (Steam PC/Deck, Xbox PC/S/X, PlayStation 5) and the game version you are playing from? And if you can replicate the problem, do you mind recording a video then send it here?

here is the video, we’re playing on ps5, the version is 1.1b-1232.

In the video you can hear the sound for choosing to open the cookbook but nothing happens for several seconds. Same with scrolling through the recipes.

I have a similar problem too, so just gonna copy paste it here.

Every time I open the recipe book to cook something, it takes super long to load into it to the point where I thought my game crashed the first time. Also lag spikes when switching thru the different tabs also.

It’s not a one time thing and happens every time I try to open the recipe book.

Hello. I had a similar issue where my recipe book freezes my game temporarily. It loads into the recipes eventually but its very very delayed. I apologize I made a report on an existing topic. Im new to the inclusion aspect e.g. creators who listen via ANY platform.
