missing letters in the “notes” section of the journal

hii i just wanted to know whether the missing letters are still an on-going issue? i saw in the developers diary that it is “fixed”, but it still hasn’t appeared in my game. everything’s up to date btw. thanks in advance!

sorry for the late reply! i’m playing on steam, version v1.1b-1232 (i’m going to assume that’s the latest version bc the game doesn’t appear to be telling me to update)

@summer tartan Hi, this problem been reported before for steam https://discord.com/channels/623097219628662784/1309128262923845682 . And with the help of other players we were able to make out that this issue seems to be only for new saves created after 1.1b. Old saves created during 1.0 or 1.1 are unaffected and letters are appearing in the journal.

Is it safe to start a new game right now and will the bug cause any major issues?

Yup, totally understand. Really hope it's something that can be fixed. I'm playing on PS5, so it's not just sharing the save file to get it fixed. I've stopped playing this game one year ago due to the amount of bugs. I've returned this month as it's the end of the year and I'm vacationing. If my new save file is broken, I'll quit from this game

It's nothing major and doesn't affect gameplay. This bug shows up as only missing letters from journal in new saves. @fallen veldt @small galleon

And also, team is on the 2 week break. Will be back on the 6th
