Crash after Winter 28

Reproduction Steps : immediate load in whether it is going through new years festival or immediately trying to change day upon loading directly into the game. Trying to let my character run out of stamina did not work or letting the day end naturally did not either.
Repro Rate : every time go to bed

May I ask if the crash issue happen when the game saving after End of Day recap? Also, did you decorate your house or farm building on that day?

Hi it happens on end of day recap. it happens regardless if i play through the day or immediately go back to sleep to skip the day

not the previous day, but it was supposedly last day for the 3rd upgrade house building day

Hi @vale geyser @sharp nova. I’ve got some great news from the team regarding the crash! It turns out the issue is caused by an indoor wall decoration placed in a spot that will later turn into stairs after your house upgrade (check the attached image for the exact location)

To avoid the crash, simply remove the wall decoration before going to sleep on the day prior to the finished house upgrade. Once the house upgrade is complete, you can safely rearrange the wall decorations as needed. This way, you won’t have to load a backup or delay upgrading your house!
