You can try recovering your "missing" save file from Steam Cloud. However, you'll need access to a PC to do this, and ensure both your Steam PC and Steam Deck are properly synced. Here's how you can proceed:

  1. Open this link: https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorage
  2. Locate Coral Island in the list and click on Show Files
  3. Search for the file ProjectCoral/Saved/SaveGames/DailySave_<number>.sav (check the recent date) then download it
  4. Rename it to DailySave_<number>.sav
  5. Place the file in the appropriate folder on your Steam Deck, ensuring it matches the file path: /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/1158160/pfx/drive_c/Users/<username>/AppData/Local/ProjectCoral/Saved/SaveGames
  6. Launch the game to check if your missing save file has been restored
