Can't access underwater cleaner thing

The trash hiding the orange shiny thing while diving was behind a root so I can't activate it to clean the root out and progress. Is there a fix??

Don’t dive for at least a week in game and let the trash build up. It should respawn.

Did you mean in game week or irl, bc it's been over a week in game and not a single batch of trash has popped up, and that's with me not diving at all

Oh I just saw that you said in game week, yeah unfortunately that doesn't seem to be working so I can't progress

Iirc a CM recently had said on a similar thread that trash takes 2-3 weeks in game to fully respawn

Def used to be about a week was fine for respawns, but trash spawn rate also previously was wayyyyy higher (which was changed as per player base feedback request)

Okay, now on top of this, I can't get the game to work with the steam deck at all, not with a connected controller or otherwise. All of this was no issue previously. I did end up finding a bug report about no solar orb spawning and no amount of time waited fixes it or spawns trash but they log in with a different type of controller and it spawns, so i disabled my pro controller and am just using the steam deck and now nothing works

Okay so i restarted the whole thing, turned Bluetooth off so it would ignore my pro controller and reordered controller priority to steamdeck, got it to work, went diving, and the orb is just sitting there so I guess it's some issue with using my pro controller somehow
