Chest disappeared

**Title ** Everything was fine on Sunday on PC. When I started the game on Monday on the Steam Deck after the big patch, the chest that I had placed next to my barn with shears/milk jug/stuff from barn animals was gone.
Reproduction Steps I tried exiting and re-entering on the Deck. I then went to my PC and tried the most recent save and two previous saves.

same here. after new patch, my chest is disappeared. (on steam deck)

no. my barn was already upgraded (level2)

My chest was in the same spot (cursor). My barn was NOT upgraded (still level 1) because I'd experienced the crash several times when trying to upgrade 😆

Oh my god same here for me only on the xbox and its happened twice.
Just trying to save up large wools for the research and the chest has disappeared twice now with shears, milk jug, grass etc

First time i thought i was just imagining it and id put my tools in some dumb spot and lost them but second time i remember the day before having 4 large wools and today theyre gone, but not only that when i got to previous days save they have disappeared then as well???!!!???

I usually have my chest right up against the barn wall next to the bell, maybe it disappeared when i upgraded it or something?

I have a ps5 save in year 2 and it hasnt happened once with chest in the exact same spot

I haven't played since my chest is disappeared. Is there any chance that the missing chest will be revived? I was so discouraged because there were so many items in chest.

I feel the same. I also don't want to jeopardize the chance of getting it back by playing... But I miss playing 😕

Hello! If you haven’t progressed further, you can also revert to a previous in-game day using the Backup feature to go back to the previous day when the items are still there. Here's how:

• Go to Settings in the game and select the Game category.
• Scroll down and find "Show Backup", then set it to "Yes".
• Return to the main menu.
• When loading your game, check the box in the corner labeled "Show Backup".
