#Game Crashes Every Time When Meting The Merman King

  • Reproduction Steps Every time the cut-scene of meeting the merpeople royals for the first time comes to an end the game crashes. I tried skipping the cut scene but it still crashes.
  • Repro Rate It happens every time. I tried restarting the game and trying again, making sure my steamdeck was up to date, restarting my steamdeck as well but I still get the same result every time it gets to the end of that cut scene.
  • Game Platform Steam on the steam deck
  • Game Version (This can be found right below the Exit button on the title screen or at the bottom right of your game screen)
  • Input Mode Steam Deck
  • Your save file
  • Attachment I am unable to figure out a way to get the file off of my steam deck and to another device. I attached the message that shows up when it crashes though.

I am also having this issue. I cant get through the cutscreen or skip it without crashing its stopping me from being able to progress. I have tried reinstalling, trying different days in game and in real life to see if it will work. Nope.

To be specific I am a steam user using steam deck as well and also tried on my boyfriends computer on steam. This issue been going on for 6 weeks in real life time so far that I have noticed. So I'm currently unable to progress game wise. Would love a fix!!

Also @zealous locust that's exactly where I crash as they are showing me the barracks/ where I can sleep.

Yeah! It's literally at the end of the cut scene. I'm assuming there must be some sort of issue with actually loading in that space when it's no longer in a cut scene anymore or something? I'm not sure. It's such a devastating place to not be able to progress to since it totally prevents you from being able to continue a central part of the game

@zealous locust yesss. Because the fountain can't be completed, I can't unlock areas/ fast travels, and so on. All I'm able to really do right now is farm and talk to people/ some errands as I wait for this to be fixed.

Yeah ;-; hopefully one of the devs sees this and is able to do something about it, at the very least I know that it's not just a me issue so that rules out it being a problem with my steam deck

Yea and it's not just steam deck as i tried on my bf's computer as well. As I was raging pretty hard about this
