Can't create underwater seeds

Repro steps: I just got the underwater farm. I went up to the seedmaker on the underwater farm and saw I had the ingredients for two different seed types (Red reefbud seeds and Marinethorn blossom seeds). I click the Mix button, add the ingredients, and click confirm. The mix window closes and it goes back to the "Ocean Seed Mixing" screen. When I open my inventory, new seeds are not there, nor do they come by mail. This is my first time attemping to make seeds so I'm not sure what's supposed to happen but there are just no seeds. It appears my inventory items have not actually been consumed at least.

Repro rate: I have tried several days in a row, at different times of day, and keep having the same error. I am not able to proceed in the game if this doesn't fix.

Game platform: Steam on Windows PC

Game version: v1.1b-1231

Input mode: Bluetooth Nintendo controller connected to PC

Once you’ve selected the seeds and returned to the Seed Mixing screen, are you pressing the L analog stick to mix them? It is the final step and it sounds like you’re missing it, you don’t have to back out of the screen because an animation will play when you press the mix button

I actually just had this same issue. I'm not sure if you guys have fixed this, but if a patch was released where it was attempted, it did not take fully. In my case, it was at the mixing station on my surface farm though.

Repro steps: I attempted restarting the day and doing the same thing at my underwater farm and it happens there too. It doesn't take the ingredients in my storage, but it does take the items that were in my player inventory.

Steam PC. Game Version v1.1b-1237. I can attempt to create seeds and do a screen capture if you would like to observe the glitch.

I think the problem might be me. I think what actually happened is I failed to click the final mix button and my items "stayed" in that mixing log waiting for me to use them. Because I used almost all the critters I had in my inventory to make seeds and they were gone. However, like I said the crops and seaweed stayed at the same levels and all THOSE materials were in chests at the farm. I'm not sure why it took the stuff that was in my player inventory, but not the stuff from my chests.

So at this point the only actual problem appears to be it taking the stuff from my inventory even when I didn't mix the seeds.
