Trees (saplings) disappeared

This happend overnight between Winter 28 and Spring 1. I had a cluster of almost-fully grown spring fruit trees that just vanished. I know I didn't make a mistake because the almond trees (grown) are alright and the summer fruit trees were still growing in another cluster. Reloaded the save and the trees are just gone.

Normal day, definitely no logging done, the festival at the winery. When spring 1 came, the trees (would be 2 durians and 2 oranges if my planning memory is correct, i remember the leaves are bare) are just gone. There was the usual change of season debris where they were. 4 other saplings that have not matured remained unaffected.

My durian & mango tree were on the white T sign i draw here. For me, its on the first day of spring. After the new year eve festival.

Experiencing the same issue on my end. Just moved from Summer to Fall in Y2 and my apple trees all disappeared. I had to replant saplings as shown in the picture. Not sure if everyone has the same experience but it seems to happen in the season where the trees can be harvested.

Reproduction Steps: I wake up on the first day of Spring in Year 2 and my 3 durian and 3 mango trees (fully grown) have disappeared.
Repro Rate: I quit and restarted the day 3 times and it happened every time

Input Mode: Controller + Keyboard/Mouse

Activities on Winter 28: gathered animal products, loaded and unloaded autochests in sheds, harvested some kelp, attended NYE festival. At the festival I spoke to every NPC, bought pad thai, watched fireworks, and left. I offered the pad thai at the lake temple and then went to bed.

May I ask if you've tried to check your Backup file on Winter 28, are the Trees still there?

I was in spring and had 3 fruit trees planted in the greenhouse: an orange, a durian and an almond tree and on day 1 of summer, they were gone.

i tried the same trick with loading the day 28 winter and didn't went to the festival
after the night in spring 1 the trees were there, but then i have to reload the day again because of an online shopping bug and after that, the trees disappeared again
i reloaded the file 3 times after that but the trees are still away

I'm also having the disappearing tree issue @sterile reef, I saw in another thread that you were gathering info so figured I should share.

Reproduction Steps
Planted 1 each spring trees and 1 almond tree on Fall 28, harvested almonds on Winter 28. I don't recall the order of my day but i sunned my ocean farm, tended animals in Barn and Coop, rearranged sprinklers and scarecrows ready for Y2 Spring 1, processed Fossils at lab, changed into the Panda Farmer outfit (after finally activating the kickstarter key!) and attended NYE party. I passed out while hoeing til 2am! I play on 50% Game Time speed for the gains.

Before quitting to desktop but after saving/sleeping (yesterday, Dec 3rd, IRL) I stepped out of my farm onto Spring 1 and did the birds-eye view to see what random rocks etc had spawned, and I saw my trees there.

Today, I open my game file and realise about halfway through the day that the spring trees have disappeared! The Almond tree is still there.

Repro Rate
I loaded my Dec 3rd back-up save from W28 and my trees are there at the start of W28. I went straight to bed from W28 and into Spr1 and my trees survive!

I loaded my original DailySave_1 back in to restart Spring 1 and I'm still treeless.

I haven't tried a third time but based on yesterday's experience, and also loading in the backup-save I think the issue might occur if you quit the game after W28 and then load to start Spr1 at a later time. On each occasion that I continued straight through into Spring 1 from Winter 28 my trees remained, whether I played the whole day like yesterday, or did a straight-to-bed day like I just tried.

yup, redid Yr 1 Winter 28 and played straight through to Yr 2 Spring 1 and no tree glitch. I did almost everything the same (sorry!) the only thing i did differently on W28 was not go to the lab.

after i reload back into 28 spring, the peach tree was still there, as soon as it enters summer, the peach tree dissapear again

I'm having the same issue. I played Summer 28, Year 2 last night and started Fall 1 Year 2 and my trees were there, but I exited halfway through the day and when I start Fall 1 tonight my apple trees are gone. EDIT - I just reloaded my save for Summer 28, replayed it and my trees were back when I hit Fall 1.

On the first day of Summer, I lost all of my Peach trees that were outside on my farm, the mangos were fine. The missing trees should have been fully grown. The fruit trees in the greenhouse were fine. Now on the first day of Fall I have lost all 5 of my apple trees that were outside on my farm. The apple trees were fully grown, I had planted them in the spring. The olive trees are still there, and none of the trees in my greenhouse are missing. I suspect when Winter arrives I will lose all of my almond trees. Reproduction Steps: This automatically happens when the first day of the new season starts. Restarting from the title or closing and restarting the game does not fix the issue. Repro rate: This has happened for both Summer and Fall of year 2. Update on issue: I reloaded my backup from Summer 28 and my trees were there. The apple trees were there when I went into Fall 1 and went outside to check, but then later disappeared. I cleaned up my fields, removing the right side hot pepper patch with an axe and I removed the withered crops with my scythe as well as the weeds, rocks, and logs that spawned. Some of the AFH sprinklers weren't spitting out their crops so I had to go into the seed storage and remove and replace the seeds so they would continue planting the plots. The trees were still there at that point. I went into my barns (cow one, then sheep one) and then the coops (one with quails, then ostrich one, then the bottom three most left coop, then the bottom most right coop, then the coop above those two). When I came out I noticed the trees had disappeared at some point.

I had to play through the whole of day 1 from day 28 to get my trees to stick. If I saved and quit at the end of 28 the trees were gone. But playing day 28, and immediately playing day 1 before quitting and they've been fine.

I hate to say this...but I'm not sure if its completely fixed. I just transitioned to Summer 1 and one of my summer fruit trees have disappeared. I wish I could say exactly which one it is, but I don't remember where I placed them 🤦‍♀️ I play on Steam, and this is after the hotfix.

I had each tree planted and fully grown. Only one disappeared.

@sterile reef Yes, I did quit right after the season change. I tried to open it up the next day and it was like that when I went in. I am also on Year 3, Summer 1 if that might make a difference. I tried to quit and reload the game a couple more times, and it stayed the same. Here is my save file! I hope that's the correct one, please let me know if you need something different!

I had this happen to me twice now. I just started my spring year 3 and both types of the fruit trees that should bloom for that season vanished (I had 3 of each). Both happened to me during stream.
