I'm getting this same problem. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. I've checked the file integrity. I've tried running it on several different internet connections. But it crashes right as it gets to the "humbl" screen - that's as far as it's loaded.
I am having the same issue, I'm on Windows having just updated with the most recent patch. I'll see if I can add the errors I received.
I'm getting this:

Yeah looks very similar to my crash report, gdi
Hello everyone. Thank you for reporting about the crash you've encountered. 🙂 Can you tell us the specs of the device you use to play (CPU, GPU, HDD/SSD, etc.)?

I just uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it seems to be okay....
If I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, will my saved game is safe? Might try this tonight
yes.
Hello, Tea. Glad that the issue didn't happen again after you reinstalled the game. If it reappears, kindly let us know. Thank you! 🙌
Hi Clara! If the issue still occurs when you load the game, could you please share the crash log file with us? You can locate it by copy-paste this file path to the File Explorer: %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\Crashes [the XML files]. Thank you!
Hi! Thank you for your report and for sharing information about your specs.
Unfortunately, there seems to be a compatibility issue with your device's graphics card. Coral Island requires a dedicated graphic card to play, while your graphic card (Intel(R) HD Graphics 520) is integrated. Ensuring its compatibility and proper drivers might resolve the problem.
Thank you!
