I like to plant 80 crops in a square around my Sprinkler III with Auto SFH, but peas grow on a trellis and can't be walked through. So I had to leave a path to reach the sprinkler. Is there really no good way to do this? Even without an auto harvester being used you'd never be able to reach the inner section of anything larger than maybe four plants to hand harvest. It would be really nice if we could walk through a pea field. Since the peas just grow on a single pole they're not actually wider than any other plant and the poles could potentially still bend out of the way?

Sadly there isn't a good way to do that. Thankfuly you have the Auto SFH which does all the harvesting for you, but you either have to destroy some of your crops to get to it to empty out or use for other things. Personally after one season of just having Peas, I never grew them again for that reason. Too much of a pain to deal with unless you manually plant them and don't add seeds to the Auto SFH to ensure you always have a walk path made.

Ah, thank you for confirming. I was kinda sure there wasn't an alternative. But! you can still use the Auto SFH and leave a path, just make sure the path isn't ploughed, so seeds aren't automatically planted there. Not that you're going to, if you don't grow peas. I'm a weirdo and I like to grow some of everything.
