#Unreal crash when I attempt to do the matching pattern game at the winter festival

When attempting to play the matching pattern game the game will crash right after showing me the first pattern as I start moving to try and recreate it.

This has happened three times on different days of the festival and none of the other games have the same effect.

I am playing on Steam

It happened on any day that I tried to play the matching game. First on day 1 but also on the third nd last days of the festiavl when I tried to play the game again

Mostly either mining or farming. The last time it happened I didn't do anything except check on my farm animals.

The first time I played the trivia game first and then tried matching/ The second time I tried shooting and then matching/The third time was on Sunday(the last day of the festival) and I had already completed all the other games so I tried to just do the matching game.

The game seems to start as usual and I am able to see ethe pattern I'm supposed to match before it disappears but then when I move forward and hit the x button to try and start digging the game freezes and crashes

ive crashed about 4 times while playing the matching game after 11am game time. i was able to get thought the matching game if i play right as my character wakes up but not past 11. also i am passed the first day of winter fair.

This happened to me as well, crashed on the matching game both times I tried it, on the second day of the fair (day 18 I think). I did fairly different things during the day the second time, so it doesn't seem obviously related to anything specific I did during the day. I was using a Dualsense controller.

Thanks, that fixed it for me! I just tested it and that worked for me. Also, I tried waiting and not doing anything until the afternoon (about 14:00) and doing the matching game and that still worked for me. SunnyFlower said for them it crashed after 11AM, so I wonder if the trigger is e.g. doing a bunch of stuff and then doing the game, like some sort of resource usage that then causes the bug to be possible? Pure speculation though.

this just happened to me as well,
Reproduction Steps: winter day 17 I believe after 5:30 pm first day of the winter festival. I played all the games and the last game i was going to play was the matching game. the game said start and then the entire game crashed. I spent my day before the festival letting the animals out and mining in the fire mine level 25, then went down to the beach and talked to villagers
Repro Rate: every time. was able to reproduce
