Skill level up + stamina & health fruit notifications showing twice at the end of the day

Like the title indicates and as you will see in the attached video the notifications for skill level up as well as eating stamina and health fruits show twice at the end of the day. You need to click the x/okay/accept button twice before it goes away.

Repro Rate: every time I skill up or eat either of the mentioned fruits.
Game Platform: Steam for PC
Game Version: v1.1b-1230 (it's also on the attached video)
Input Mode: controller (cheap off-brand) & mouse, I've tried it with both and the same thing always happens

I maxed out my farming, and diving and mining (i think), and don't do much of anything else too often. so leveling those is harder. but I can keep an eye out and see i can catch it
