Town Rank problem?

I moved to town rank A (was town rank B) following the 1.1 QoL update. I have gotten the cutscene where Pufferfish leaves town; I have not seen any celebration cutscene, and I am uncertain if I received any mail from the Mayor - I checked my letters in the journal and nothing is there, but there is also no letter in my journal regarding the new library books, which I do remember opening. I have had multiple sunny days since the day Pufferfish left.

I went to the community center and noticed that the board at the center now displays Town Rank F.

I am playing on PC with the newest Steam update and patches.
