Museum achievements not popping up

• Title Bug Enjoyer, Part-Time Curator not popping when I have turned in 340 items to the museum
• Reproduction Steps My last item for the museum was a Blue Morpho and I turned it in, picked up the unicorn outfit and the moth outfit and did not get either achievement.
• Repro Rate I can't recreate it with out a BUNCH more hours so I only know that I waited a day to see if it sorted itself and it did not. I can try a speed run to see if it happens again if needed
• Game Platform Steam
• Game Version v1.1b-1230
• Input Mode Xbox Controller

This is happening with me also. Mine is the Bugs, Fish, Artifacts, Fossils, and Completeing the museum. Hoping they have a fix for it. The badges aren't showing completed and the Steam achivements also are not showing done.

My last item donated was the hammerhead shark and I did not get either Part-time Curator nor Fishing Mania. I didn't get the badges in-game either.

I’m having the same issue!! Also on steam, I just finished the sea critter collection, my last donated was the horseshoe crab. I didn’t get the marine observer steam achievement OR the in game badge.

@drifting pilot @vapid sonnet @normal rover can you drop your save file so our teams can take a look too? You can copy-paste this file path into your Windows Explorer: %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames. It's the DailySave.sav file.

May I also ask if you’ve reset your achievements on your Steam page by any chance? 😮

Yeah I've gotten the same issue. Just completed the bug collection and thus the museum collection. Did not get either achievement. Running on Steam on PC post latest update. I was able to get the collection rewards from the museum though. Nor is anyone acknowledging the achievement. Since the 1.1 update they only thing people are really talking about is the Mural which I think is the last major quest I did before the update.

Hi y'all! Same problem here too. Just donated the last fish and no achievements.. everything is up to date and I also haven't reset my achievements on Steam.
Here are the achievements that I should have already gotten but are still locked for no apparent reason: "Fishing Mania"; "Fashionista"; "Part-Time Curator";
Love the game. Hopefully this can be fixed without the need of a fresh save file.. 🙇

I'm having a similar issue. I play on PC and have cooked all the recipes, turned in all of the artifacts/fossils/etc, but have not gotten the achievements. They show completed in game, though.

Yesterday I completed the fossils, but didn’t get the achievement neither in the game nor in steam but got it in the town log.
So maybe the bug is affecting all of the museums achievements!!

Got a similar bug I guess. I have donated all items but in the museum it show that one fish is still missing even if it's not the case

Beside Steam achievements not popping the in-game achievements are also shown as not completed :(

Also all of the achievements are showing that they were completed on the same day which is the day my save is currently on??????

ye, I'm also not playing for quite a long time now :< I just started the game to check if maybe by accident those will pop up xD, I have high hopes in the next hotfix as I am scared to play and maybe lose some achievements in the process :(

Just had this happen to me tonight with paleontologist. Donated the last piece and didn't get the achievement on steam, and the in game badge is still locked as well.

This bug was first reported by the end of november, tomorrow is the start of february. There have been 2 patches released since, but no fixes for this.
Do we have an ETA? If not, will this at least be fixed in the next patch whenever that is?

Museum achievements are some of the hardest to complete by the sheer amount of rng involved, so being ripped off that achievement after so many hours of work really made me want to drop the game tonight
I've encountered several bugs in coral island and have always chosen to continue playing because of how much I love the game, but the chance that I might just never get an achievement that took SO many hours, as not even the badge unlocked, just makes me want to stop playing immediately

Just popping in to say I just had this happen with the fishing achievement - grabbed the outfit and it didn't register in game or on steam. I am playing on steam deck though I don't think that should make a difference. This is an older save file from when 1.1 first launched, if that matters.

Am also trying to be understanding, I get bug fixing and such is hard work and yall do a great job but I also almost rage quit since its taken me so long to fully complete the museum stuff 😅
