Fishing Bug

The bug starts when I start fishing.
I can't see the fish in the water if I hook one.
And during the process of catching the fish, the animation is really off. (see video)

The problem started since the recent update.

I play on PC via Steam.

Game version: V1.1b-1230
Input Mode: Keyboard and mouse

I thought I was going crazy because I'm having the same issue. Fishing was so peaceful and a big part of me enjoying this game and then it just broke and I've been so sad

Very difficult to figure out which fish you've caught.

Same for me! Additionally, I accidentally used the fishing rod in the cavern entrance and accidentally used it when I was not at the edge of the wooden platform yet and the fishing rod got stuck next to my character's foot. I pressed ESC twice to mitigate this, but afterwards now my character has the water ripple animation follow them whenever they move.

I've slept/ saved for multiple days and the water ripples are still there too

Hi, Im experiecing the same problem since the last update. Glad to not be the only one. On top of that, Im catching fish which aren't supposed to be available in certain fishing spots, e.g.: I've just caught a sea cucumber in the forest river :/

Oh and Im playing the Steam deck version

Hey, l'm experiencing the samebug since the last update. Also, for some reason the 'inventory is full!' message keeps popping up, even with plenty of space available. And, for some reason when harvesting crops, some of them hover in the air and l can't take them.

Edit: now the message 'Can't use this item here' keeps popping up all the time. As soon as the message goes away, it immediately pops back up again and never stops. It's quite annoying actually

Also experiencing this with the added thing of it keeps saying I have lucky angler but it's not always the case and I do have to keep reeling in the fish as normal. It really confused me at first.

The issue seems to have resolved itself for now, but I will definitely make a report if it does occur again :)

Hello again. My bad sorry, cheking the wikia and so I realized that the area where I caught it (the south part of the river that is the nearest to thr west zone of the farm) is actually separated from the river forest and is normal to find sea cucumbers there. Sorry for the mistake and thanks for the feedback!!!

But yeah I still have the animation issue and some fishes seem to struggle at first and then they stop and turn into trash
