New Relationships (Merfolk) Not Saving the Next Day

Problem: I recently unlocked the full merfolk area and healed the coral tree - so I started meeting them for the first time. Two individuals specifically won't save, and I have to introduce myself to them every time (as seen in the image)

Reproduction Steps: I complete a full day but when I wake up the next morning - both of the merfolk are still blacked out and when I talk to them that day I receive a "Met Rysy" message again.

Repro Rate: Every in game day

Platform: Steam - PC

Yes - and each time I restart the issue persists
