Inventory disappeared from gameplay screen

Year 1, Winter 6: Sorry, can't remember the exact time, maybe around 1pm? Havent reported before!
I was in the town hall, near to the part where you can purchase things using the town reward points. I had just consumed a stamina fruit, I then went into my menu and upgraded my mastery on a bunch of different things (farming, mining, foraging, etc) and when I closed down the menu my inventory had disappeared from the gameplay screen. To Clarify, I could still toggle through the items in my inventory and use them (to hoe for instance, or to consume an item) but I couldn't see the inventory on the screen as I usually do. Have closed game without saving incase the bug sticks!
