Any time I fish I don't get to see the model of the fish till its caught, it never moves once on the hook, and lucky angler is applied each time without actually doing anything to affect gameplay.

Can confirm it is also happening on Pc/Steam. Happened after v1.1-1228 got released, basically same behaviour on PC as mentioned above.
I used to "read" the fishes on their movement pattern and break the line, if I caught anything I didn't need for the museum. Thats when I noticed the change.

Hello, this bug is also happening to me as well.
I am playing on PC/ Steam, this started occurring after the most recent update.
The lucky angler trait would trigger every time I fish but does not immediately pull up the fish. It would proceed to the mini game, but that is also bugged where you are not able to read the various fish movements and just pull up whatever fish at random with all the same difficulty.
This occurs for every fishing attempt.
I am using keyboard and mouse to play.

this bug is also happening to me. i'm playing on PC/steam, started occuring after the last update.
also, not sure if it's related to the same bug but my fishing pole is osmium quality and i'm using the best large fish bait but get only trash. my ratio is 7 trash vs 4 fish 
this was not happening before the update. when using osmium pole and large bait, i was never getting trash

Hello, this same bug was happening to me last night while streaming. I am also on PC/Steam and only started after the new update. I can add a clip if needed! I use both keyboard/mouse, and controller!
