I don't know if it's exactly a bug but I feel that since the update the number of geodes and objects that come out of stones has decreased substantially, it is very difficult to get geodes and gems in the mines.

Agree. I'm struggling to even get ore, honestly. Some floors have no ore at all.

I'm on Steam, and I'm talking about most floors of all four mines. I can do another run through and actually keep track. I know at one stage in the Water mine I got 4 geodes out of over 20 floors.
This was before the update for me, though. I'll run through again now with the update.

I've just tested with my current save - but I have a lot of mastered skills. I went through the first 5 floors of the Earth mine and there were only 4 ore rocks in total throughout the 5 floors. If I used explosives I got no ore at all—is this intentional—it's only when I used my pickaxe on regular rocks I would get ore and I have the double ore skill. In the 5 floors, there were 5 geodes and 5 fossils. I'm going to try on a clean save from the beginning because I definitely have not been getting geodes this frequently before now.
