#Stuck on "Waiting for Other Players" screen in single player

Hi there!
I played through to the end of a day, and, after getting the new "woohoo" cutscene, it displayed this message with no way to move past it until I closed the game. Despite the humorous implications of when I got this message, the multiplayer obviously hasn't yet rolled out, so I was confused as to how I even got this. I couldn't do anything, including pulling up my desktop, so the game had to be force stopped.

Repro rate: So far it's only happened once, just restarted the day. Will update should it occur again

Unfortunately, we couldn’t replicate the issue on our end. Do you recall what activities you were engaged in that day before the issue occurred? 😮

I've played a few days further and haven't had the issue again but I'll let you know if it does come up again

Oh and right before the "waiting for other players" was the woohoo scene, it got stuck after that but it moved on to the next day after I stopped the game and restarted

dropping in as i also experienced it after a cutscene!! (not the woohoo, unlocked the deep forest) it did also move onto the next day just fine after closing the game & restarting. i'm also on steam pc (but v1.1b-1230) and can drop my save & backup if it's any help!!

experiencing this now, v1.1b-1231. it was after I slept, the cut scene is the cherry blossom festival / the bamboo things are gone

i passed out after clearing the ocean and the solar orb completed and flashed then i passed out woke up did the whole earth tremor that alerts the merkingdom of the coral tree healing and then the conversation about the king and queen needing to talk about giving my player something then it showed the waiting for other players.... and i had to do ctrl alt del to end the game because it wouldnt let me do anything else

Reproduction Steps: On Winter 18, Y1, tended to farm/ranch, then participated in all Winter Festival games. Completed the "Rare Gems" bundle at the temple, which unlocked the bamboo sanctuary. Got a cutscene speaking to the Goddess. Went to blacksmith and processed geodes, then to lab for fossils, then museum to donate. Went to the mines, ran through floors 20-31 or 32. Placed Slime of Replication down and filled it with osmium kelp. Sorted/shipped items and went to bed, game saved.

On the 19th, got the cutscene for bamboo sanctuary unlocking overnight, then screen went dark with "Waiting for other players..." message. Unable to bypass, had to close game entirely. Reopened game, got the cutscene for unlocking the sanctuary again, but then the day started as normal.

Repro Rate: Only once so far. Was able to restart the game and play as usual.

I also encountered it after the bamboo sanctuary unlocking scene, going from Winter 3 to Winter 4
In my case, I had just been going around mining and trying to reorg my farm, so I had ended up going to bed just a little bit after the clock hit midnight and the notification for it being late popped up.

I also experienced this issue.
I just went to bed, got the cutscene for the Bamboo forest and the greenhouse and then the notification "Waiting for other players..." popped up. There was no way to get back to the menu or back to game. I restarted the game, the cutscenes repeated and I was able to play on.

Reproduction Rate: Happened once.

Hiya everyone, sorry for the delay in getting back to this thread!

If you're still experiencing this issue, could you share your backup save with us? The team has been trying to replicate the bug, but unfortunately, we haven't been able to reproduce it on our end 😦

Currently experiencing this issue as well.
For me it happened after the cutscene of the bamboo sanctuary opening. Hadn't done any events so that cutscene and the cutscene that happens before it where the player meets the goddess face to face are the only ones I had triggered. It was raining on summer 13 year 2 and went to bed before midnight.
After force closing the game and restarting it the cutscenes played again and I could continue as normal.

Repro rate: only happened once
