Replanted Purwo Forest (1/3) merit spam bug

Each day I start and I get 150 merit points credit for this activity since the update. It's really screwing up my pacing, I just essentially got a free town level from it. I Just started spring of year two.

I'm also experiencing this issue, it's really weird.

Every day the Purwo Forest (1/3) cashes in and keeps giving Merit Points. All of my points are from that right now (Summer year one).

Playing on Steam with controller, haven't done anything weird other than do festivals as they happen. I was given twice as many saplings in part C of the tree planting event, but they didn't carry over. What did carry over into my player inventory was all the stuff I collected in part A. And yeah, since then I've been getting the Replanted reward... I believe it's been every day.

I'm a bit curious, so after the tree planting festival, everyone here keep having merit point rewards notifications in the end-of-day UI and also get the additional points too?

• How many days does this happens, or if it stopped after X-days, or if it only happen on certain days even
• What year are you in, and if you keep attending the tree planting festival the year before this?
• Do you have any video of this?
• Do you have any backup saves from the day of the tree planting festival (spring 21st)

I can try to replay the game up to the Tree Planting festival and see if/when it triggers from then on. I love making fresh saves :V

Though it would be nice if we could save in the middle of a day so we don't have to either abandon progress or complete an entire day, or if we could copy saves in-game instead of looking it up in our files.

I'm in summer day 3? I think of year 3 and get it for all 3 days of the events. I didn't realize merits counted towards town level though a bit scared to try to recreate it at risk of messing up my save further.

Hopefully my progress can get fixed when it's resolved. Would hate to mess up my pacing

since tree planting festival is on spring 21st, does that mean you get the points throughout 22, 23, and 24th spring?

merit points are separate and shouldnt affect town rank/level progression tho! so you will be fine! :>

I'm not sure if the festival is what's causing it. Because I didnt know exactly when it start, but I'm currently on Winter 20, so the 4th day of Winter Fair. it happens on the 18 & 19 because it shows on my town rank list. Not sure about the 17th because I forgot.

Actually, after checking my activity log, I remember yesterday(19th going to 20) I didn't see it on the end of day records, but When opening the game today I did saw it in my Activity Log.

I have been getting this since summer 28, year 1 after the patch. As a side note I was also affected by the missing gem bundles so I did not load my game until that was fixed.

I have been getting the message every day since that has passed since I started to play after the gems bug was fixed, it has been 12 days so far here is a screen shot, as well as a zip of the current save. I believe my backups are too far out from the tree planting festival.

When I finish the day, I didnt get the Purwo Forest Merit. But after I exit the game and reopens the game I can see it on my Activity log

I had this too and afaik I do actually get the points. I think it stops as soon as I get another activety(like donating) in my log, but starts again after loading the game

I want to make a note that my merit points seem to have reverted back after I won the harvest fest, though I did still get the revived purwo forest merits as well.. Posting my earlier screenshot as a comparision. Also file is both my backups and currently save file.

I made it past tree-fest in my new save and it didn't proc the day after. I'll keep paying attention to it for a few in-game weeks.

Heya, just want to add on that I'll get those duplicate merit points as well, since v1.1b-1230. Since I am in fall year 3 and have conpleted the tree planting festivals already, I get all 3 merit point rewards again and again, every day (1/3, 2/3 and 3/3; thats 450p every day.)

I started to play the update at around summer 20th and continued playing until fall 9th yesterday. After a few nights/ day reports I noticed the issue and my merit point account in in the thousands now.

There where a few days where I didnt get them, but I don't know why, since I am doing pretty much the same every ingame day (building attractions, maintaining underwater and land farm und doing the new altars)

I can confirm donating or any other activety(winning a game and got merit), makes it stop for that playtrough.

sometimes i think the merit points should be for something else (this one was finishing earth cavern), but sometimes it feels more random lmao each time i got the notification and the merit points

Spring Year One, new save on either latest patch or the one right after , it seemed to award them only after i hit Town Rank E, have so far only noticed it a second time (after the black root / finished dive area 1 cutscene) but honestly unsure if thats subsequent days or not :

Update well it stopped on summer 5th and seems like it also stopped on the 6th let's see for other days . I spent some of the merit points I gained (thx to the bug haha) on the 5th maybe it helped idk haha

I just updated my game earlier today and have been playing for a bit. I had been experiencing this bug prior to the update, but now am experiencing it after the update!

In the changelist for the update it said this had been fixed, wasn't sure if it was still known to be an issue. Thank you for your patience 🙏

I updated to 1.1-1231 and still get merit points credited. it's the 6th of spring in year 2.
Merit points from the 1st year planting festival have been adding up every day (except the day I finished my errand) for a long time.
