There's nothing interactible in the dino area and I havent triggered any cutscenes. Is there a bug?

have 'Fossil' Collection 100% in museum
enter musem/fossil section for auto trigger of cutscene
museums main Donation interface spot will now have the Dino Hologram page available

You said above you haven’t seen any cutscenes, so I’d refer to the Town Rank A story scene progression ( #1283467432178221167 message )
As that must be completed in order for the Dino holo quest line to unlock

I saw the first cutscene, where Pufferfish leaves, but no letter from the mayor. Community center rank says "F"

All scenes/triggers require Sunny weather + no festivals

So any festival days &/or non sunny weather will delay the next part of sequence
