Bug Bug

Basically if you catch a bug and open up your inventory to move it there is a chance for the game to lock you out of any other action requiring a day reset. It seems to depend on the speed at which the game registers my item pickup before locking out.
Stepwise catch a bug with a new and immediately open the inventory now pressing any other key is not possible unless the game is physically closed.
Repro Rate: Happens quite often so would guess 80%.
