Hi guys! I just saw that in 13 days Coral Island would no longer be available on the PC Game Pass (xbox). I played the game via the game pass but I didn't buy it yet. I was wondering, if I buy it on the game pass, will I be able to play with my old save ? And also, if I understood well, the latest updates only appeared on Steam? If that's the case I might buy it directly on Steam. Thanks for your help !

Where have you seen this info? Right now consoles and steam are on the same version, except for XBOX (which includes Gamepass) that had additional update to fix crashes.
But if you're able to buy it, steam is more stable version, but you will be starting from the begging.

Xbox does cloud saves, so you can buy the game at a later time if you purchase it via the Xbox app on PC. I've done this with hundreds of games for PC on the Xbox app that after "trying before I buy" thanks to Game Pass.
