Is there something wrong with my swimming minigame? Soni doesn't pause when he is swimming like the rest of us. Also the animation looks like we are glitching as we swim which slows us down? I have 612 stamina but for the life of me, I cannot beat this minigame and I am so frustrated! Also after going through the stamina bar once, I can only fill it up 75% and it refuses to go higher than that.

I've seen people beat this minigame under 10 seconds and I do not understand why I cannot do the same! Please help. I've been going at this for over an hour and i want to cry!

Ive beaten Chaem a couple of times but honestly, nothing I do beats Soni who never stops swimming.

Edit: I've given up. I'm tired of this rigged game.

I'm late to this, but I'm also playing on Steam Deck and am getting close to saying it's just not possible to win and everyone who says they did is lying lol. I have almost 1000 stamina and still can't get a better time than 24 seconds!

i won it on the 1st year with ~11s after practicing a few times
i tried waiting for the stamina to recover but it seemed that you cant win like this, atleast not with year1 stamina values
what i did instead was to kinda like press the keys in a rythmic way instead of spamming them, so that my character never stopped swimming, and once the stamina is low and hits the yellow bar, i slowed just enough so that the stamina starts recharging but im still swimming

im mid spring y2 so i'll try to get a video of it when i get there

Yeah I also won first year, with around 650 stam. If you stop fully, you'll always lose. The whole, objects in motion stay in motion really is the biggest factor. I get to full speed and then when I get to under yellow, I stop spamming so it does the fast recovery and then start spamming again before I lose most of my speed. Took a few tries though

Also you klick to fast. At some point you use up more energy, but you don't move faster. It's about steadiness and energy conservation not speed.
It also took me to year 3 until I was finally able to find this out.
I wish the game would drop a hint.

I couldn't win my first year, but won 2nd year and so on. I think around average around 16-18s, it's doable but the first few times really is just trial and error. Once you get to the yellow bar, release and then don't need to wait for full stamina, just with enough, just go swim again. With higher stamina, it gets easier too. But it really is frustrating the first year lol
