#Reproduce-able Memory Leak
3 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Known potential & reproduction steps for memory leak :
-
Opening chests too many times in 1 day
Happened when I played for very long time in 1 day, usually involving moving around town, diving or mining. Just when i reach my farm toward the night, there is chance that opening chest will trigger memory leak -
Opening & closing chest too quickly
Right clicking on a chest & pressing escape rapidly will trigger memory leak. This can be easily monitor by opening task manager and seeing the RAM usage rise up quickly. -
Opening & closing inventory / map menu quickly
Just like the chest, opening up the map and inventory by dedicated button (button M & button I) will make RAM usage rise up.

My own conclusion :
Everytime you open a UI that involved storage, it will try to load information into memory.
But sometimes it doesnt get purged properly when user close the menu properly (or crossing loading zone)
Any storage that show user's inventory will trigger memory leak : Auto-chest, SFH attachment, Auto-collector, Kitchen
