NPC Intereactions-popup events

Are the little spontanious pop up events we encounter for NPC's random or is it plotted out by teh hearts we have with someone? (both romatic and not)

i'm just trying to figure out if i'm missing out on seeing events by being too.. gifty andgetting to know people too quick? ihope not 😮
(like does me being at 4 heart with someone lock me out of seeing any cutscenes from 1 2 3 hearts progress?)

It is by heart level, and no, there's no way you can miss previous ones. Part of the trigger for each event is you have to see the previous one.
